Nine people have been detained by Tajikistan’s state security service for suspected connections to the perpetrators of the recent deadly attack on a concert hall near Moscow where 144 people were killed. The four suspects arrested for the attack were identified as Tajik nationals, and an Islamic State affiliate claimed responsibility for the incident. Russian officials, including President Putin, have suggested Ukrainian and Western involvement in the attack, although Ukraine denies any role. The death toll from the attack has risen to 144, as reported by the Russian Health Minister.
