A military cargo plane at a Royal Jordanian Air Force base in Amman is being prepared for an aid airdrop mission over Gaza. Maintenance engineers, who graduated together from the military academy, are conducting final preflight checks on the US turboprop C-130 Hercules aircraft. This aid mission involves two Jordanian cargo planes, along with four other aircraft from Germany, Egypt, and the United States, all scheduled to depart around midday for the airdrop.
