A Russian space capsule safely landed in Kazakhstan with two women and one man returning from the International Space Station. The Soyuz MS-24 capsule carried Oleg Novitsky, Loral O’Hara from NASA, and Marina Vasilevskaya from Belarus. The landing occurred southeast of Dzhezkazgan. Meanwhile, those who remain aboard the station include astronauts from NASA and cosmonauts from Russia. O’Hara spent 204 days in space, while Novitsky and Vasilevskaya had a delayed journey due to a Soyuz spacecraft launch issue caused by a power source problem. Collaboration at the space station continues amidst tensions between Russia and the West over Ukraine, with plans to operate the station until 2030. Russia still uses modified Soviet-designed rockets for various space missions.
