President Biden’s political apparatus has raised $155 million, the highest ever for a Democratic candidate at this stage in an election cycle. In February, they brought in $53 million, marking the fourth consecutive month of fundraising growth. The Democratic National Committee also ended last year in a stronger financial position compared to the Republican National Committee, which saw a decline in fundraising and had to make drastic staff cuts. Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump has restructured the RNC’s leadership. Despite Biden’s fundraising success, Trump still leads in polls nationally and in key states. Both candidates have secured enough delegates for their party’s nomination.
