Viking, an Australian shepherd from Solihull, has won the 2024 Crufts dog show in Birmingham. Out of 24,000 dogs from around the world, three-year-old Viking claimed the top honor on Sunday after winning the pastoral group earlier in the show. Co-owned by Melanie Raymond, John Shaw, and Kerry Kirtley, Viking’s breed is known for its attractive colors and athletic movements. A Jack Russell terrier named Zen from Japan won second place. Crufts also featured various challenges and presentations such as agility and jumping tasks, a heelwork to music competition, and obedience trials.
