Delhi court has permitted Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC K. Kavitha, arrested in connection to a money laundering case related to the alleged Delhi liquor policy scam, to meet her two sons, mother, and other family members. Kavitha, the daughter of BRS leader and former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, was taken into custody on March 15 and is being held by the Enforcement Directorate until March 23. The court, responding to a request from Kavitha’s lawyer, modified its earlier decision to allow her brother and seven new close family members to visit her during her detention. Meetings are limited to two or three individuals per day.
