A far-right Austrian nationalist, Martin Sellner, has been banned from entering Germany for three years after addressing a meeting about mass deportations, sparking mass protests. Sellner, a leader of Austria’s Identitarian Movement, received the ban from Potsdam authorities, who stated he could face deportation if he attempts to enter Germany. The event in Potsdam was attended by neo-Nazis and far-right groups, discussing the mass deportation of migrants, asylum seekers, and German citizens of foreign origin. Sellner was recently deported from Switzerland and had his social media account restored, thanked Elon Musk for his support.
