The Welsh Labour party has selected Vaughan Gething as its first Black leader. In other news, a French shipping tycoon has agreed to purchase the Altice Media group for €1.5 billion, which includes the BFM TV news channel and RMC radio station. Furthermore, European authorities warn that drug gangs are operating ’torture rooms’ and arming children with AK-47s due to the escalating violence driven by the continent’s drug trade. On a different note, European farmers are proposing a price floor to address their concerns of being exploited by major food buyers, although this may lead to issues of overproduction.
