Gwyneth Paltrow rooted for her longtime Marvel co-star Robert Downey Jr. as he won his first Academy Award for best supporting actor in “Oppenheimer.” The two actors starred in “Iron Man” and various Marvel films together. Downey thanked his wife, collaborators, and acknowledged the meaningful nature of their work in his acceptance speech. Both actors last appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2019. Downey won several awards for his role and will star in the HBO series “The Sympathizer.”
