In a recent IDF strike in Nusirat, central Gaza, Hamas’s number three in high command, Marwan Issa, was reportedly killed while hiding in a Hamas terror tunnel. Sources indicate that his body is still buried under the rubble. Additionally, Razi Abu Tomeh, a Hamas Brigade Commander, was also killed in the attack. The IDF had targeted Issa in the previous week’s strike, but his death had not been confirmed at that time. Following the strike, Hamas went silent for 72 hours, raising speculation about inside information aiding the operation. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed determination towards achieving victory, stating that Hamas leaders number four, three, two, and one are targets.
