Amid intense international pressure, including rebukes from Washington and London, Israel’s Defense Forces have announced plans to provide significant aid to Gaza. The decision came after visiting minister Benny Gantz was urged to take more action to address hunger in the region. The IDF aims to “flood” Gaza with supplies, according to spokesperson Rear-Admiral Daniel Hagari.
