Israeli military forces discovered a significant number of weapons hidden within Gaza’s largest hospital following clashes with Hamas fighters. The weapons, which included mortars, grenades, and rifles, were found in various locations such as lockers beneath floors and in bathrooms. In addition to the hospital raid, another weapons cache bound for the West Bank was intercepted, with authorities attributing the supplies to Iran’s Unit 4,000 of the Revolutionary Guard Corps. The smuggling operation also allegedly involved a senior Fatah official based in a Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon.
