The Israel Defense Forces announced on Sunday that they had carried out an airstrike in Lebanon, killing a senior Hezbollah commander, Ismail Al-Zin, who was identified as a key figure in the Anti-Tank Missile Unit of Hezbollah’s Radwan Forces. This strike comes after another attack by the IDF on Friday, which targeted and killed Ali Abed Akhsan Naim, the deputy commander of Hezbollah’s rocket and missile unit. The hostilities stemmed from Hamas’ earlier attacks on Israel, leading to Hezbollah expressing support for Hamas. Hezbollah has reported significant fighter casualties, with civilian casualties and mass displacement also occurring on both sides of the conflict.
