Poland scrambled fighter jets to protect its airspace as Ukraine faced a barrage of Russian missiles and drones on Friday. The Polish Air Force responded to intense aviation activity and missile strikes from Russia on Ukrainian territory. Just days earlier, a Russian missile breached Polish airspace near Ukraine. Meanwhile, Moscow launched a significant missile attack on Ukraine, with Ukrainian authorities reporting damage to energy infrastructure facilities. Despite the assault, Ukrainian air-defense systems successfully intercepted the majority of the weapons launched.
