Allies are considering transferring the Ukraine Defense Contact Group into NATO’s control to “Trump-proof” weapons for Ukraine. Chinese state-linked hackers targeted European lawmakers in cyberattacks in 2021, while Beijing criticized the Netherlands for imposing export restrictions. Hackers, affiliated with Beijing’s security services, also targeted European politicians to obtain sensitive information, as reported by Washington.
