Navy cargo ships along with Army vessels are set to head to the eastern Mediterranean Sea to construct a humanitarian aid pier off the Gaza Strip. Over 250 sailors will be involved in setting up a floating dock and pier to deliver aid to Palestinians. The mission is Army-led with Naval support, and the pier is expected to be operational within two months, facilitating the delivery of up to 2 million meals daily. Concerns remain about protecting the aid flow from potential Hamas attacks, as well as ensuring effective distribution to those in need.
