Finland remains the happiest country in the world for the seventh year in a row, topping the UN’s World Happiness Report. Nordic countries like Denmark, Iceland, and Sweden also rank high. In contrast, Afghanistan, facing hardships under Taliban rule, is at the bottom of the list. The United States and Germany dropped out of the top 20 happiest nations. Factors such as GDP, social support, and life expectancy influence the rankings. Finland’s connection to nature and work-life balance contribute to their happiness. Meanwhile, happiness among younger generations is higher in most regions, but in some places, older generations are happier. Wealth and support systems play a role in happiness levels globally.
