The auction for the home of former Myanmar leader Aung San Suu Kyi, with a starting price of around $90 million, saw no bidders present, leading to its cancellation. The property, located in Yangon and subject to a legal dispute between Suu Kyi and her brother, was put up for sale at the order of the Supreme Court. Suu Kyi, currently serving a 27-year sentence, had resided in the historic villa for most of her years in Myanmar. The property’s sale was part of a court ruling to divide it between Suu Kyi and her brother after a lengthy legal battle.
