Kim Jong Un, North Korea’s leader, was seen using a Russian luxury limousine gifted by President Putin, according to Kim’s sister, who praised the vehicle and highlighted the strong ties between the two countries. The limousine was gifted in February and was used by Kim during a recent public event. North Korea and Russia have increased military cooperation due to their respective issues with the West. Kim has been overseeing various military drills, including one where he rode in the Russian limousine. The cooperation between North Korea and Russia has drawn concerns, especially North Korea’s alleged support for Russia during its conflict with Ukraine. Russia and China have consistently blocked attempts by the US and its allies to impose new UN sanctions on North Korea.
