Poland has demanded an explanation from Russia after a missile strayed into Polish airspace during a missile attack on Ukraine, leading to NATO member Poland activating F-16 fighter jets. It was the third major missile attack on Ukraine in four days, with the Russian missile hitting critical infrastructure in the Lviv region. No deaths or injuries were reported. The missile attack also targeted Kyiv, with cruise missiles launched from Tu-95MS strategic bombers. Poland’s airspace was violated, but the missile did not hit any target in the country. The Polish Foreign Ministry plans to summon the Russian ambassador to address the airspace violation and call for an end to the attacks on Ukraine.
