A former associate of Rudy Giuliani accused Senator Ron Johnson of being influenced by Russia in his pursuit of evidence of corruption related to the Biden family. Lev Parnas highlighted efforts by Trump and allies to sway public opinion with unverified claims about the Bidens, stating that such accusations were false. Johnson’s investigation into Hunter Biden’s business dealings in Ukraine found no criminal activity but suggested he benefited from his family name. Parnas claimed that Johnson and others played a role in spreading misinformation, with right-wing media also implicated. Johnson denied these allegations and defended his oversight work as legitimate.
