Russia conducted a series of missile and drone attacks on Ukraine between March 21-25, causing significant damage to the country’s critical infrastructure. President Zelensky reported 190 missiles, 140 drones, and 700 aerial bombs hitting the country, with a focus on the power grid. The attacks are seen as retaliation for Ukraine’s strikes on Russian oil facilities. Despite the onslaught, Ukraine has managed to prevent a total blackout and downed a significant number of incoming projectiles. The country anticipates challenges in fully restoring the damaged infrastructure, stressing the need for assistance from Western allies.
