Russian security services have apprehended three individuals from a Central Asian country who were planning a terrorist attack in the Stavropol region by detonating an explosive device in a public area. The suspects were found with materials for an improvised explosive device and chemical substances. The arrests come in the aftermath of a recent massacre at a concert hall in Moscow, and the Stavropol region is located in southern Russia near the North Caucasus region bordering Dagestan and Chechnya.
