A convoy of three ships has departed from Cyprus to deliver 400 tons of food and supplies to Gaza as concerns over hunger in the region continue to rise. The World Central Kitchen charity stated that the shipment had enough provisions to create over 1 million meals, including essential items like rice, pasta, and canned vegetables. This aid comes amid warnings from the United Nations and partners about the risk of famine in northern Gaza. In addition to the humanitarian efforts, there are ongoing truce negotiations between Israel and Hamas, with little progress made in the conflict that has resulted in significant casualties and the destruction of critical infrastructure in Gaza.
