Their task involves constructing a pier to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian supplies. Led by Col. Samuel Miller, the brigade will navigate four ships, setting up piers off the Gaza coast to allow aid offloading. Despite security concerns, no U.S. troops will land in Gaza. Approximately 1,000 service members, including Navy units, will partake in the operation.
