The fourth human spaceflight of the year is set to launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome to the International Space Station. Soyuz MS-25 will be manned by mission commander Oleg Novitsky, NASA’s Tracy Caldwell Dyson, and Belarusian Marina Vasilevskaya. The “express” flight will take only three hours and 18 minutes to reach the ISS. Once docked, the crew will join the 10 people already aboard. Novitsky and Vasilevskaya will return after a 12-day stay, while Caldwell Dyson will spend six months on the ISS. Vasilevskaya will be the first Belarusian woman in space, Novitsky has spent over 500 days in space, and Caldwell Dyson is a seasoned astronaut with significant space experience.
