According to recent leaks, Sony is reportedly working on a PlayStation 5 Pro which is set to offer improved performance, faster speeds, and better graphics compared to the current PS5 model. The PS5 Pro is rumored to provide enhanced frame rates at 4K, a “performance mode” for 8K resolution, quicker game rendering, and significantly faster ray tracing capabilities. The leaked details suggest the console will feature a GPU with 67 Teraflops FP16 (33.5 Teraflops FP32) performance. Industry insider Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming predicts a potential holiday release for the PS5 Pro, intending to capitalize on seasonal sales. However, Sony’s release schedule may still change based on the availability of first-party game titles.
