Ukraine successfully intercepted and destroyed 18 Russian missiles and drones aimed at the country during a series of attacks overnight on March 30-31. The Ukrainian Air Force, led by Commander Mykola Oleshchuk, confirmed that they shot down nine cruise missiles and nine drones. The Russian assault consisted of cruise missiles launched from bomber planes in Russia, kamikaze drones from various locations, a ballistic missile, and a guided missile. Ukraine managed to defend against the attacks using fighter planes, anti-aircraft missiles, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare technology.
