Investigators are looking into why a Boeing plane was missing an external panel after a San Francisco to Oregon flight. United Airlines’ Flight 433, with 139 passengers and six crew members, was found to be missing the panel after landing at Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport. The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed the plane landed safely, and the missing panel was found during a post-landing inspection. Boeing has faced recent scrutiny, but the missing panel incident involved an older 737-800, not a 737 Max. Boeing is conducting an investigation to understand how the damage occurred.
