The United States has conducted six defense strikes and fired 18 anti-ship missiles in Yemen in response to Houthi rebels launching two anti-ship ballistic missiles into the Red Sea. CENTCOM stated that the missiles did not hit any vessels or cause damage. In retaliation, the U.S. destroyed an unmanned underwater vessel and 18 anti-ship missiles in Houthi-controlled areas. The U.S. military reports shooting down over 100 Houthi missiles since January. The Houthis have been targeting commercial ships amid the ongoing conflict.
