The U.S. military has shot down a Houthi drone over the Red Sea and destroyed another one on Yemeni soil. The U.S. Central Command stated that the Iranian-backed group launched two unmanned aerial vehicles from Houthi-controlled areas towards the Red Sea. The military engaged and destroyed one UAV, while the other presumably crashed into the sea. There were no reports of damage or injuries. In a separate incident, the Houthis reportedly fired three anti-ship ballistic missiles towards the Red Sea from Yemen. The group has also been reported to possess a hypersonic missile.
