Walmart has begun selling the MacBook Air with the M1 chip in the U.S. for $699, available on their website and soon in stores. This marks the first time Walmart is selling a Mac directly. Previously, other retailers offered this model for as low as $749.99. The MacBook Air with the M1 chip was released in November 2020, featuring the M1 chip, 256GB of storage, and 8GB of RAM. Though an older model, it is still capable for daily tasks.
