Famous landmarks worldwide, such as the Eiffel Tower, Rome’s Colosseum, and the Parthenon in Athens, participated in Earth Hour by turning off their lights for an hour. Other iconic sites like New Delhi’s Akshardham temple, Sydney Opera House, and Sagrada Familia in Barcelona also joined the environmental awareness campaign. Earth Hour, organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature, aims to raise awareness about environmental issues by urging individuals to switch off their lights for 60 minutes.
